Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Healthcare Sales Head to lead our sales and business development function. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation's sales strategy, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, proven experience in achieving aggressive revenue targets, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement the overall sales and business development strategy aligned with the organisation's growth objectives.
- Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Identify new revenue streams, markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.
- Develop effective sales plans, territory strategies, pricing approaches, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and business development team.
- Set clear individual and team targets and establish measurable KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity and conversion.
- Build a performance-driven and customer-centric sales culture.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-quality sales talent as the organisation scales.
3. Healthcare Business Development
- Develop strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, doctors, diagnostic centres, corporates, insurance companies, healthcare institutions, and other strategic partners, as relevant to the business.
- Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, corporate tie-ups, referral networks, and institutional contracts.
- Drive B2B, B2C, institutional, corporate, and channel sales initiatives based on the business model.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure consistent movement of opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Lead negotiations and closure of high-value accounts and strategic deals.
4. Sales Operations & Performance Management
- Establish a structured sales process covering lead generation, qualification, follow-up, conversion, and account management.
- Ensure effective utilisation of CRM and sales analytics tools.
- Track key metrics including revenue, conversion rate, average deal value, sales cycle, customer acquisition cost, and team productivity.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business reviews to senior management.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement corrective actions.
5. Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure that the sales proposition delivers measurable value.
- Handle high-value client negotiations and escalations professionally.
- Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Clinical, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
6. Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new geographical markets and business segments.
- Develop market-entry strategies and establish local partnerships where required.
- Build scalable sales channels and processes to support business expansion.
- Represent the organisation at relevant healthcare conferences, industry events, networking forums, and business meetings.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 8–15 years of experience in sales/business development, with significant experience in the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong experience in leading and scaling sales teams.
- Excellent understanding of healthcare sales and business development models.
- Strong B2B and/or B2C sales experience, depending on the organisation's business model.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and manage key accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making ability.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales-performance dashboards.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
