GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and tooling before machining begins.
- Monitor machine operations during production runs to ensure quality and consistency.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Make minor adjustments to machine programs and settings to improve quality and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Document production logs and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Set up CNC machines according to production schedules and job cards
- Insert align and secure fixtures, tooling based on job specifications
- Load and adjust programs (G-code/M-code) as required for each specific job.
- Conduct initial test runs and make adjustments to machine settings for optimal output.
- Ensure all setups meet quality and dimensional standards before releasing to operators.
- Work closely with CNC operators to ensure smooth handover of machines and minimize downtime.
JOB SPECIFICATION (SKILLS / QUALITIES/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of machine tooling and setup procedures.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming (preferred but not mandatory).
- Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
