Experience Required
- 2–5 years experience in FMCG, spices, food processing, packaging, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience in handling packing staff and production operations.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
Job ResponsibilitiesProduction & Packing Management
- Supervise daily packing operations for spices, rice, pulses, herbs, and FMCG products.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor machine operations and packing efficiency.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and packing materials.
Quality Control
- Verify product quality before packing.
- Ensure correct weight, sealing, batch coding, and labeling.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
- Check for damaged packaging materials and finished goods.
Team Management
- Supervise packing workers and helpers.
- Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
- Maintain attendance and discipline of workers.
- Train new employees on packing procedures and quality standards.
Inventory Control
- Monitor stock of raw materials, packaging materials, labels, cartons, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with purchase and stores departments for material requirements.
- Maintain daily stock and production records.
Dispatch Coordination
- Ensure finished goods are packed and ready for dispatch.
- Verify quantities before loading.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams.
Documentation
- Maintain daily production reports.
- Maintain packing records and batch-wise records.
- Report production losses, damages, and wastage.
- Prepare daily productivity and efficiency reports.
Skills Required
- Leadership and team handling.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word).
- Inventory and stock management.
- Production planning.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in spices, food products, FMCG, rice, pulses, dry fruits, or consumer packing industry.
- Ability to handle 10–50 workers.
- Familiar with batch coding, labeling, barcode systems, and packaging standards.
- English communication and reporting skills preferred.
