Key Responsibilities (Mechanic - 2 wheeler)
Compensation : 23,000/- inhand + PF
Vehicle Servicing
● Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of two-wheelers.
● Check and maintain engine oil, filters, brakes, tyres, battery, cables, and other
serviceable components.
● Carry out periodic maintenance as per the vehicle service schedule.
● Ensure vehicles are properly serviced before being released for operations.
Vehicle Repair
● Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in scooters and motorcycles.
● Repair or replace brake pads/shoes, cables, tyres, bulbs, batteries, filters, belts, and
other components.
● Identify and rectify starting, braking, suspension, steering, and engine-related
issues.
● Carry out minor electrical repairs when required.
● Ensure proper fitting and tightening of all replaced parts.
Vehicle Inspection
● Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety-related issues.
● Check brakes, tyres, lights, indicators, horn, suspension, steering, battery, and other
critical components.
● Identify damaged or worn-out parts and recommend replacement.
● Do not release vehicles with major safety or mechanical defects.
Breakdown Support
● Attend vehicle breakdowns when assigned.
● Diagnose the issue and carry out minor repairs at the breakdown location wherever
possible.
● Coordinate with the workshop team for vehicles requiring major repairs.
● Provide accurate information about the vehicle condition and repair requirement.
Quality & Safety
● Perform a final inspection after completing repairs.
● Conduct a basic test/check to confirm the issue has been resolved.
● Follow workshop safety procedures at all times.
● Use tools and equipment safely and correctly.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area.
● Report major defects, accidents, or unsafe vehicles to the supervisor immediately.
Parts & Tools
● Use spare parts and consumables responsibly.
● Ensure the correct parts are fitted to the correct vehicle.
● Maintain and use workshop tools properly.
● Report damaged, missing, or defective tools and parts.
● Avoid unnecessary replacement or wastage of parts.
Job Updates
● Update completed servicing and repair details in the job card/app as required.
● Record parts replaced and work performed.
● Inform the supervisor about pending repairs or parts requirements.
● Ensure repair work is properly closed before handing over the vehicle.
Mandatory Requirements
● Basic knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical systems – compulsory
● Ability to service and repair scooters and motorcycles
● Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting
● Ability to use common mechanic/workshop tools
● Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
● Ability to identify safety-related vehicle defects
Eligibility
● ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical trade preferred
● Freshers with relevant technical training may be considered
● Candidates with prior two-wheeler mechanic/workshop experience will be an
added advantage
● Good workmanship and repair quality
● Safety-conscious attitude
● Ability to follow company SOPs and instructions
Pay: ₹23,000.00 per month
