The School Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the operations of the school promote and support effective teaching and learning. This includes providing high level advice to the leadership team on all matters related to the implementation of the curriculum, the relevant industrial agreements, and effective management of the school. Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, systems and processes to ensure the highly effective operation of the school. Ensure coverage of classes and the effective implementation of the curriculum on a daily basis. Coordinate all arrangements for short term contract replacements of teaching staff including induction of staff and communication with sub schools, Learning Area Coordinators, the Staff Development Coordinator and the leadership team.

Provide professional assistance to CRTs, including orientation to school policy and processes, provision of course outlines and work, and appropriate resources. Monitor the implementation of the industrial agreement, and provide regular reports to the leadership team and the Advisory Committee.
