We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fibroscan Technician to perform liver elastography (Fibroscan) procedures for assessing liver fibrosis and fatty liver conditions. The candidate will be responsible for conducting scans, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth coordination with consultants for timely diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Fibroscan procedures accurately as per clinical protocols.
- Prepare and assist patients before and during the procedure.
- Maintain patient reports and documentation.
- Ensure proper maintenance and handling of Fibroscan equipment.
- Coordinate with consultants and clinical teams for timely reporting.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital quality standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the diagnostic department.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Diploma in Medical Technology or relevant healthcare field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Good patient handling and communication skills.
- Prior hospital/diagnostic center experience preferred.
