About the Role
STRUDCO SERVICES LLP is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman to join our Structural Engineering & BIM team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings and detailing for steel projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural drawings for steel structures.
- Develop GA drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, erection drawings, and connection details.
- Prepare structural drawings based on engineering designs, calculations, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, detailers, and other project teams.
- Revise drawings based on engineering comments and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and drafting standards.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and proper drawing standards throughout the project.
- Support the team in preparing drawings for construction and fabrication.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in structural drafting preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of structural steel detailing.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings.
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures will be an added advantage.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
