Role Summary
The Production Manager will manage end-to-end production floor activities, ensuring daily output, quality, efficiency, and safety are achieved as per plan. The role is responsible for daily production planning, material availability, manpower training, documentation, and driving table-wise targets to closure, while reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily order pendency and ensure prompt dispatch
- Prepare daily production planning for the production floor
- Share weekly requirement (RQ) list of PCB, LED, and Driver components with the respective team
- Follow up on shortage materials on a daily basis to avoid production loss
- Maintain adequate stock of top-selling products; identify raw materials in short supply, share the list with the concerned stakeholder, and follow up until resolved
- Set and track table-wise production targets in line with the production plan
- Document the process of top-selling products by preparing SOPs
- Train manpower on the process to reduce rejection and improve quality
- Review daily whether production targets are achieved; for tables where targets are not met, address the gap and ensure the target is achieved
- Maintain daily production reports
- Manage end-to-end production activities, ensuring daily output, efficiency, and safety
- Design and implement an incentive plan to improve manpower productivity
- Prepare table-wise production planning on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Implement a point-based system to track and evaluate target achievement
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in production management, preferably in an electronics/electrical manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production planning, shop-floor management, and quality control
- Experience in SOP documentation and process standardization
- Ability to manage manpower, drive training initiatives, and reduce rejection rates
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in maintaining production reports and MIS
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
