Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Identify reliable vendors and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely procurement.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/projects/departments.
- Ensure quality standards and compliance with company policies.
- Track market trends and material cost fluctuations.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-up.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
- Evaluate vendor performance periodically.
- Ensure cost control and budget management.
- Handle emergency and urgent procurement requirements.
- Coordinate with project/site teams for material planning and delivery schedules.
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Vendor management and sourcing knowledge
- Knowledge of procurement procedures and inventory management
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and procurement software
- Time management and leadership skills
- 8-10 years of experience in Procurement and Vendor management
- 2-3 years of experience in team handling and Manager Role.
