Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction to students (Classes 6-10). The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ mathematical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while preparing them for academic success and board examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics, and Basic Calculus (as per grade level).
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, and exams.
- Provide remedial support to struggling students and enrichment for advanced learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including digital tools and real-life applications.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive assessments.
- Encourage logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (B.Sc./B.A. Mathematics).
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Master’s degree (M.Sc. Mathematics) is preferred.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
