Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to independently handle financial activities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, ledger, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Review and verify invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting documents.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Monitor receivables, payables, expenses, and cash flows.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and explanations.
- Support tax-related activities, filings, and reconciliations as applicable.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements.
- Support management with financial data and ad-hoc reports.
- Guide junior accountants and review their work where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), or a related field.
- 7–10years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems such as Tally Prime, or similar.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Knowledge of applicable tax and statutory compliance requirements is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
