Tatva Global School is looking for a passionate and competent Middle School Computer / ICT Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Computer Science/ICT, good classroom management skills, and the ability to make technology learning engaging and relevant for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science / ICT to Middle School students (Grades VI–VIII).
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students' understanding of computer fundamentals, digital literacy, coding, and emerging technologies.
- Introduce students to Computational Thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning through practical activities.
- Use appropriate digital tools and technology to enhance classroom learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, projects, and other learning resources.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure effective use of the computer laboratory.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback and academic support.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and participate in academic planning.
- Encourage responsible, ethical, and safe use of technology among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and actively participate in school activities, events, and teacher development programmes.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, ICT, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Computer Science/ICT at the Middle School level in a CBSE school will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals and digital technologies.
- Knowledge of coding/programming, Computational Thinking, AI or Robotics will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and build positive relationships with students.
- Should be enthusiastic, innovative, patient, and willing to continuously learn and upgrade skills.
Experience
2–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
Freshers with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching may also be considered.
