Job Description: AutoCAD Draftsman (Interior Fit-Outs)
We are seeking a skilled Design Draftsman with hands-on experience in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, detailing, and creating accurate drawings for interior design and fit-out projects. The role involves translating design concepts into detailed construction drawings, working closely with project managers, architects, and interior designers to ensure precise execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed, accurate drawings for interior fit-out projects (layouts, elevations, sections, and details).
- Work closely with design teams to ensure drawings align with design intent and project specifications.
- Review and update drawings based on client feedback and design changes.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure correct interpretation of drawings.
- Ensure all drawings meet relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to solve design and technical challenges during project execution.
- Assist in material and finishes selection based on design requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in drafting and detailing for interior fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
