A Junior HR Recruiter supports the full-cycle hiring process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. They assist senior HR staff or hiring managers in engaging top talent, managing job postings, and ensuring a smooth, positive candidate experience. [1, 2, 3]Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing: Post job openings on professional platforms, job boards, and social media networks.
- Resume Screening: Review incoming applications to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and experience against job requirements.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate initial phone screens, in-person interviews, and manage hiring calendars.
- Candidate Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for applicants, providing updates and feedback throughout the process.
- Database Management: Maintain updated records of candidates and recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill) using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Onboarding Support: Assist in processing candidate paperwork, drafting offer letters, and conducting reference/background checks. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a similar HR role.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with MS Office, recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), and HR/ATS platforms.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
