Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Research & Development Executive for our immigration department. The candidate will be responsible for researching immigration rules, visa updates, documentation requirements, eligibility criteria, and policy changes for different countries including Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, and other major destinations.
The role includes research for study visa, spouse visa, visitor visa, work visa, PR pathways, and other immigration categories. The ideal candidate should be able to analyze official updates, prepare internal notes, create process documents, and support the visa and counselling teams with accurate information.
Key Responsibilities
Immigration Research
Research latest immigration rules, visa policies, and updates for Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, and other countries.
Track updates related to study visa, spouse visa, visitor visa, work permit, PR, PNP, Express Entry, and other immigration programs.
Study official immigration websites, government portals, embassy updates, and trusted sources.
Prepare clear summaries of new rules and policy changes for internal teams.
Compare visa requirements, eligibility criteria, processing trends, and documentation needs across countries.
Process & Documentation Development
Create and update document checklists for different visa categories.
Prepare country-wise and visa-wise process notes for internal use.
Develop SOP guidelines, refusal analysis points, and file preparation strategies.
Support the team in understanding complex immigration cases and new policy changes.
Maintain updated records of admission requirements, visa requirements, financial requirements, and compliance rules.
Team Support & Training
Provide research support to visa counsellors, admission officers, and filing teams.
Conduct internal training or briefings whenever major immigration updates come.
Help the team understand eligibility criteria and documentation requirements.
Assist in preparing content for client guidance, scripts, FAQs, and internal knowledge material.
Content & Market Research
Research trending immigration topics for social media, ads, reels, and client awareness content.
Prepare short notes on latest visa updates for marketing and counselling teams.
Analyze refusal reasons and suggest improvements in file presentation.
Monitor competitor updates, visa trends, and country-wise demand.
Eligibility & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in immigration research, visa filing, counselling, or overseas education preferred.
Strong knowledge of Canada immigration is mandatory.
Knowledge of UK, Germany, Australia, study visa, spouse visa, visitor visa, and PR pathways will be an advantage.
Ability to research from official sources and explain rules in simple language.
Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Good command of English.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and CRM tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple updates and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Experience in immigration consultancy or overseas education industry.
Knowledge of SOP, LOE, refusal cases, and visa documentation.
Ability to prepare research reports, checklists, and policy summaries.
Understanding of Canada Express Entry, PNP, PGWP, study permit, spouse open work permit, and visitor visa process.
