Business Development & Training Manager
Location: Thrissur District, Kerala
Grand Motors, an authorised dealer of Bajaj Motorcycles and Chetak Electric Scooters in Palakkad and Thrissur, is seeking a dynamic Business Development & Training Manager to drive sales performance, develop high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence across our branches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training, branch audits, sales process improvement, and supporting Branch Managers to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct induction and ongoing training programs for sales staff.
- Deliver product knowledge, sales skills, and motivational training sessions.
- Visit branches regularly to monitor showroom standards, cleanliness, discipline, and operations.
- Identify manpower requirements and coordinate recruitment with the HR team.
- Monitor sales processes, customer handling, and compliance with company standards.
- Coach and support Branch Managers to improve team productivity and sales performance.
- Conduct branch audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit weekly audit reports and action plans to the Managing Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales training, business development, retail operations, or a similar role.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within Thrissur District.
