Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the project/site store and ensure smooth material flow.
- Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and approved specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward material movements.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved Material Requisitions and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain stock registers, GRNs, Material Issue Slips, Return Notes, and other store-related records.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical inventory with system/register records.
- Maintain proper records of material consumption, returns, shortages, damages, and excess stock.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, and preservation of construction materials to minimize damage and wastage.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, Project, Engineering, and Site teams for material requirements and deliveries.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for timely receipt and delivery of materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Support periodic stock audits and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, security, and organization of the store area.
- Maintain proper control over tools, equipment, consumables, and other project assets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory procedures, and project-level store management standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in store/inventory management, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction materials such as cement, steel, tiles, sanitaryware, plumbing, electrical items, hardware, paints, and other finishing materials.
- Hands-on experience in construction site store management and inventory control.
- Knowledge of GRN, Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, Material Requisitions, Issue Slips, and Stock Registers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of ERP/inventory management software.
- Strong numerical, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills with vendors, site engineers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
- Honest, organized, disciplined, and responsible with a high level of accountability.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction/project environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
