Variable Data Printing – (VDP) Supervisor
Location : Factory Situated at Vapi and Daman
Reporting to : HOD-VDP
Experience : 05 to 10 Yrs IN Barcode Printing/UV-Printing Manufacturing process
Education : Diploma / BE (Mechanical / Printing / Polymer / CIPET preferred)
Mfg Exp : Barcode Printing/UV-Printing
Salary : CTC Rs. 4.20 Lacs to 5.00 Lacs
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise VDP operators and shift activities
· Ensure production targets are achieved
· Control rejection and process wastage
· Handle breakdown coordination with maintenance team
· Train operators for skill improvement
· Maintain production and quality reports
VDP Supervisor – Specific Tasks
Production Control
· Allocate jobs to operators based on priority and skill level
· Ensure daily production targets are achieved shift-wise
· Monitor live job progress and bottlenecks
Quality Supervision
· Approve first-piece production for every job
· Ensure barcode compliance.
· Audit random samples for print accuracy and readability
Manpower Management
· Shift planning and operator allocation
· Skill development training for operators
· Discipline and attendance monitoring
Breakdown & Maintenance Coordination
· Coordinate with maintenance for machine downtime
· Ensure quick restoration of production flow
Cost & Waste Control
· Analyze rejection trends and implement corrective actions
· Optimize ink usage and reduce overprinting loss
Reporting
· Prepare daily production + rejection + downtime report
· Submit MIS to HOD-VDP
