Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled VFX Faculty to join our team in Nagercoil. The candidate will be responsible for training students in VFX concepts, software, and industry-standard workflows through practical and engaging sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct practical and theoretical classes on VFX and compositing.
- Train students in industry-standard VFX software and techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and practical exercises.
- Guide students in creating professional VFX projects and portfolios.
- Provide feedback and evaluate students' performance and project work.
- Stay updated with the latest VFX trends, tools, and industry practices.
- Mentor students and support them in developing industry-ready skills.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve course content and training quality.
Required Skills
- Adobe After Effects
- Nuke
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Silhouette
- Mocha Pro
- Strong knowledge of VFX compositing, rotoscoping, tracking, and post-production workflows.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students.
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, Film Making, or a related field.
- Prior experience in VFX production and/or teaching/training is preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge and a good portfolio may also be considered.
Preferred Candidate
- Industry-oriented mindset with hands-on VFX experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating VFX/compositing work.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
- Willing to work from the Nagercoil location.
