Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Auditor to support concurrent audit activities. The candidate will assist in reviewing financial records, verifying transactions, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with up to one year of experience in auditing, accounting or finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting concurrent audit assignments.
- Review accounting records, and supporting documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of financial transactions and identify discrepancies.
- Evaluate internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Perform audit testing, data analysis and risk assessments.
- Prepare audit working papers, reports, and findings documentation.
- Assist in monitoring corrective actions and follow-up on audit observations.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather audit-related information.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
- Understanding of internal controls and risk management concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) (B.B.I), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 1 year of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or compliance is preferred.
- CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualifications are an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with banking business, regulatory compliance.
- Basic understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
