We are looking for a network and CCTV Technician who can handle network device installation, structured cabling, CCTV installation, configuration, and field level troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure network devices such as switches, routers, access points, and other networking equipment.
- Perform LAN/network cabling and structured cabling work.
- Perform CCTV camera cabling, installation, and termination.
- Install and configure IP CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and related equipment.
- Configure basic network settings such as IP address, subnet, gateway, VLAN, and connectivity.
- Perform RJ45 crimping and cable termination.
- Test network and CCTV cables using appropriate cable testers.
- Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity and cabling issues.
- Perform rack installation, patch-panel termination, cable dressing, and labelling.
- Conduct site visits and support network and CCTV deployment projects.
- Ensure proper cable routing, installation quality, and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Network Engineer/Project Engineer during installations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of network and CCTV systems
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN and basic networking.
- Hands-on experience with network device installation.
- Knowledge of CAT5e/CAT6 cabling and structured cabling.
- Hands-on experience with RJ45 crimping and cable termination.
- Experience in IP CCTV camera installation and configuration.
- Basic knowledge of NVR/DVR configuration.
- Ability to use LAN cable testers and basic networking tools.
- Good troubleshooting and field-support skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bangalore City, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
