Core Roles and Responsibilities
- Tool Design and Modification: Create and update blueprints or digital models for molds, dies, and fixtures using CAD software.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine checks and fix damaged equipment to reduce factory downtime.
- Inventory Control: Track and organize spare parts, raw materials, and finished tools so they are ready when needed.
- Troubleshooting: Fix unexpected issues with machinery or tools during active production runs.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure all manufactured parts and tools meet strict safety guidelines and precise design measurements.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external suppliers for material deliveries, cost quotes, and new equipment.
