Responsible for the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical systems. Focus is on mathematical modelling of systems of a diverse nature, analyzing their dynamic behavior, and using control theory to create a controller that will cause the systems to behave in a desired manner. May specialize in the design, configuration, and automation of systems. How will you make an Impact.

Design, develop, and document PLC programs (e.g., Ladder Logic) for compressor control panels based on project requirements and engineering specifications.

Configure and program Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and SCADA systems to provide effective operator control and data visualization.

Create and modify control logic to optimize the performance, safety, and efficiency of compressor systems.

Select and specify appropriate control hardware, including PLCs, I/O modules, sensors, and variable frequency drives for new and existing panel designs.

Perform in-house integration and functional testing of control panels to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications before deployment.

Provide technical support during the commissioning & support troubleshooting.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including control narratives, logic diagrams, and bill of materials.

Bachelors in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. experience of 3 to 15 years is expected

Ideally a professional accreditation in a recognized engineering discipline, preferably relating to the fields of Controls, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation.

Working knowledge of change/configuration management tools and processes, as well as experience with other IT related tools and software for business analytics and project management.

Practitioner of a Systems Engineering approach to product improvement is highly desirable.
