A Retail Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff, and financial performance of a specific store location. They drive sales, manage inventory, ensure excellent customer service, and handle employee management to meet the company's regional or corporate goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Sales & Profitability: Maximize branch profitability by setting sales targets, analyzing market trends, and executing local promotional campaigns.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate store staff. Foster a high-performance, customer-first culture.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage reordering, conduct physical audits, and minimize product shrinkage.
- Customer Experience: Set and maintain high customer service standards, resolving escalations and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Ensure visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and compliance with health, safety, and security protocols.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Branch sales volume against targets.
- Inventory turnover and shrinkage rates.
- Customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
- Employee retention and productivity.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in retail operations, with proven Assistant Manager or Manager experience.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen (P&L management), leadership, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
