A TGT Hindi teacher teaches Hindi language and literature to students of Class 3 to 8. The aim is to develop reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills along with appreciation for Hindi literature.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Classroom Management
Teach Hindi grammar, prose, poetry, and writing skills
Improve students’ reading, writing, and speaking abilities. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment
2. Lesson Planning
Prepare lesson plans as per syllabus (CBSE/State/ICSE)
Use stories, poems, and activities to make learning interesting
Include creative writing and speaking activities
3. Student Assessment
Conduct tests, dictations, and assignments
Check notebooks and answer sheets
Give feedback to improve performance
4. Language Development
Encourage students to speak in Hindi
Organize debates, recitations, and essay writing
Improve vocabulary and pronunciation
5. Use of Teaching Aids
Use charts, videos, and smart boards
Prepare worksheets and practice material
6. Administrative Work
Maintain attendance and records
Prepare report cards and exam results
Participate in school events and meetings
