Job Summary
The Stores Incharge will be responsible for the efficient management of Raw Material, Bought-Out Parts (BOP), Consumables, WIP and Finished Goods while ensuring inventory accuracy, material traceability and timely material availability to production. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP/ERP, inventory control and warehouse operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Manage day-to-day stores operations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure material availability as per production schedule.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment.
- Control excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
Material Receipt & Inspection
- Receive raw materials, bought-out parts and consumables.
- Verify quantity and supporting documents against Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate with QA for incoming material inspection.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of materials.
Material Issue
- Issue materials to Production as per approved requisitions.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO implementation.
- Monitor material consumption and prevent shortages.
- Maintain issue records in SAP/ERP.
Warehouse Management
- Maintain proper storage locations and bin systems.
- Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness as per 5S standards.
- Monitor shelf life of consumables where applicable.
Documentation & ERP
- Perform GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entries.
- Maintain material inward and outward records.
- Update stock transactions in SAP/ERP.
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
- Support monthly and annual stock audits.
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Planning, Production and Quality departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow to production.
- Escalate shortages or inventory discrepancies proactively.
Inventory Control
- Conduct cycle counting and periodic physical verification.
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure inventory accuracy above company targets.
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with dispatch for finished goods movement.
- Arrange loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure correct packaging and dispatch documentation.
Safety & 5S
- Ensure safe material handling practices.
- Maintain warehouse discipline and housekeeping.
- Follow EHS guidelines and statutory safety requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Automotive OEM / Tier-1 / Tier-2 Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based stores management.
- Good knowledge of Raw Material, Bought-Out Parts, Consumables, WIP and Finished Goods.
- Strong coordination skills with Production, Purchase, Planning and Quality.
- Good analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in handling warehouse staff and forklift/material movement coordination will be an added advantage.
Immediate joiners or candidates will be given preference.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
