The Chief Manager - Rewards will support the design, implementation, and delivery of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across the organization. The role will work closely with the HR Business Partners, and business stakeholders to ensure effective execution of reward processes, market competitiveness, and data-driven decision making. The incumbent will contribute to compensation benchmarking, annual reward cycles, incentive administration, and rewards program communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of compensation and rewards programs aligned with organizational objectives and market practices.
- Assist in annual compensation review cycles, including salary increment, promotion, bonus, and incentive processes.
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis using survey data and external market information.
- Support the administration of short-term and long-term incentives and recognition programs.
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends, pay positioning, and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of rewards processes through effective coordination with HR Operations, Payroll, and Finance teams.
- Assist in job evaluation and role benchmarking.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations for rewards reviews and management discussions.
- Support communication and change management initiatives related to rewards programs and policy updates.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Participate in rewards projects related to compensation structure reviews, benefits enhancements, and process automation.
Skills and Tools Required
- Good understanding of compensation, incentives, and employee benefits concepts.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to interpret compensation data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Data Analysis).
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
- Experience with compensation surveys and market benchmarking methodologies.
- Familiarity with HRIS and rewards administration systems.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within timelines.
Qualifications
- MBA/Post Graduate degree in Human Resources, Finance, Statistics, or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in Compensation Benefits, Rewards, HR Analytics, or Total Rewards.
- Experience supporting annual compensation cycles, benchmarking, and rewards administration.
- Exposure to insurance, BFSI, or large corporate environments will be an advantage.
