Job description:
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Services
- Conduct detailed occupational therapy assessments including sensory, motor, cognitive, and functional skills.
- Develop individualized intervention plans with measurable goals.
- Provide therapy focused on:
- Fine motor and gross motor development
- Sensory integration
- Activities of daily living (ADL)
- Play and social participation
- Hand function and pre-writing skills
- Monitor progress and modify goals periodically.
- Recommend and train families in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
Home-Based & Parent Training
- Design home program plans suited to the family environment.
- Train parents/caregivers on therapeutic activities and handling techniques.
- Conduct regular follow-ups through home visits or tele-rehab sessions.
Documentation
- Maintain assessment reports, therapy notes, and progress records.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports for each child.
- Contribute to organizational data and case studies.
Collaboration
- Work within a multidisciplinary team (physiotherapist, special educator, speech therapist).
- Coordinate with schools, Anganwadi centers, and community workers.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
Awareness & Training
- Conduct parent orientation programs and group sessions.
- Support community outreach and early identification camps.
- Assist in developing therapy resources and IEC materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT)
- Valid professional registration (if applicable)
Experience
- 0–2 years (Freshers with interest in pediatrics are welcome)
- Experience in pediatrics, sensory integration, or early intervention is an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication in local language & English
- Ability to work with children and families empathetically
- Report writing and documentation skills
- Teamwork and flexibility for field visits
Working Conditions
- Center-based and community/home-based interventions
- Travel to project locations when required
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
