Job Title: Steward (F&B Service)Department: Food & Beverage ServiceJob Summary:
The Steward is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set at all times
- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints politely
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the dining area
- Assist in setting up and closing the restaurant/section
- Handle billing and payment processes if required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (hotel management preferred)
- Previous experience in F&B service or hospitality is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
