Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and align new machinery and structural components based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Fabrication: Fabricate, shape, and modify metal parts using tools like saws, shears, and welding equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions and replace broken or worn-out components to restore machinery to optimal performance.
- Inspection: Measure and check components for accuracy using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations (PPE, lockout/tagout) to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
