Key Responsibilities
- Customer Intake & Assessment: Greet customers, listen to their concerns, conduct walk-around inspections, and determine required maintenance based on manufacturer specifications.
- Job Card Creation: Create and log detailed work orders (job cards) for the technicians to follow.
- Cost & Time Estimation: Provide accurate written estimates for parts, labor, and service time frames, and secure customer approval before starting additional work.
- Status Updates: Actively communicate with customers to provide progress reports or notify them of any unexpected delays or changes in the repair plan.
- Sales & Upselling: Promote value-added services (VAS), extended warranties, accessories, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Delivery & Invoicing: Review the completed work with the customer, explain the invoice and warranty protections, and process payments.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Automotive Knowledge: A solid grasp of mechanical systems and general maintenance to accurately relay information between the technician and the customer.
- Communication & Empathy: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical issues in simple, non-technical language.
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as SAP or OEM-specific software for scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining customer records.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle demanding customers or disputes regarding repairs and costs professionally.
Pay: ₹15,275.15 - ₹19,129.61 per month
