Job Summary
We are looking for a GIS Specialist with a strong understanding of GIS, data analysis, and coding. The ideal candidate should be passionate about working with geospatial data, spatial analysis, and developing GIS-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage spatial and non-spatial data.
- Create and maintain GIS maps and databases.
- Perform data validation and spatial analysis.
- Automate GIS workflows using Python or similar technologies.
- Work with SQL/PostGIS and integrate GIS data from various sources.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of QGIS/ArcGIS.
- Basic to intermediate Python programming.
- Understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
- Familiarity with spatial data formats (GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geoinformatics, Geography, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
