Job Summary
The Fine Tuning Fitter is responsible for machine fine-tuning, precision adjustments, alignment, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation, optimal performance, and minimal downtime in textile production.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fine tuning and precision adjustments on textile machinery.
- Check machine alignment, calibration, and settings for efficient performance.
- Identify and rectify mechanical issues to prevent production interruptions.
- Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure machines operate within quality and production standards.
- Replace worn or damaged components and carry out necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve machine-related issues.
- Conduct trial runs after maintenance and verify machine performance.
- Maintain maintenance records and report recurring issues.
- Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and housekeeping standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of machine alignment and precision fitting.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or related trade.
- Additional technical certifications are an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in textile machinery maintenance or fine tuning.
- Experience in spinning, weaving, or sizing machinery is preferred.
Pay: ₹9,014.73 - ₹25,327.95 per month
