About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead revenue growth for our marketing agency across the India market. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of the end-to-end sales function, build strong client relationships, and position digital marketing services as strategic growth solutions for businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new B2B clients across India
- Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation → discovery → solutioning → pitching → negotiation → closure
- Understand client business objectives and recommend customized digital marketing strategies
- Pitch and sell services including Social Media Marketing, Performance Marketing, SEO, Branding, AIO, AEO, GEO, Google Meta Ads and Website Development
- Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and strategic discussions with founders, CXOs, and marketing leaders
- Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets
- Develop long-term relationships with clients and explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Handle objections confidently and ensure strong follow-ups to close deals effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, creative, and operations) for seamless client onboarding and execution
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and conversions in CRM systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in a marketing agency or service-based industry
- Strong understanding of digital marketing services and their impact on business growth
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to independently generate leads through LinkedIn, cold outreach, networking, and referrals
- Strong closing skills with a target-driven mindset
- Experience engaging with founders, SMEs, and mid-sized businesses in the India market
Good to Have
- Experience in selling retainer-based marketing services
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, or similar platforms
- Understanding of key marketing metrics like ROAS, CAC, and sales funnels
- Existing network of business contacts or potential clients
