Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company policies. The candidate must have hands-on experience with InKeys ERP and a good understanding of hotel accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions in InKeys ERP.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, cash, and petty cash accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, and vendor payments.
- Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile guest ledgers, city ledger, and credit card settlements.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Stores, Purchase, and F&B departments for financial reconciliation.
- Prepare GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory data as required.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers and vendors.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with InKeys ERP.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of hotel accounting practices and financial controls.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with hotel revenue accounting, night audit reconciliation, and departmental cost control.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with operational departments and auditors.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
