Reports To: General Manager / Director of Sales
Job Objective
To maintain and continuously increase sales performance for rooms, food and beverage (banquets), and recreational services. You will be responsible for representing the "eco-responsible" brand of Karma Lakelands to corporate clients, travel agencies, and private groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Formulate an annual sales program and plan week-to-week activities to maximize staff time and promotional budget.
- Market Research: Continuously identify where business originates, analyze competitor trends, and identify potential new client segments.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and build a network with:
- Corporate houses and commercial hubs in Gurgaon/Delhi.
- Airlines, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Professional associations and private social clubs.
- Events & Promotions: Collaborate with the F&B department to organize special projects like food festivals, exhibitions, and parties to stimulate sales.
- Brand Standards: Review internal promotional materials (signs, posters, tent cards) to ensure they are visually effective and consistent with the luxury, eco-friendly brand.
- Reporting: Maintain updated filing systems for accounts and provide regular performance reports to the General Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in hotel/resort sales or high-ticket luxury real estate sales.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Core Skills:
- Proven track record in B2B sales and revenue generation.
- Expertise in banquet and event sales (weddings, corporate off-sites).
- Familiarity with IDS (Hotel Software) is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and "closing" skills.
- Attributes: Excellent grooming standards, high emotional intelligence, and a passion for environmental sustainability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Typically ranges from ₹6,00,000 to ₹10,00,000 per year (depending on experience and seniority).
