Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per structural drawings.
- Calculate reinforcement quantities for footings, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and staircases.
- Coordinate with structural consultants and site engineers for reinforcement detailing.
- Prepare steel quantity estimates and material reconciliation reports.
- Monitor steel consumption and minimize wastage.
- Verify reinforcement drawings and resolve discrepancies before execution.
- Maintain BBS records, revisions, and documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely steel availability.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in BBS preparation for high-rise residential, commercial, redevelopment, or SRA projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC detailing, reinforcement drawings, IS Codes, and steel estimation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Rebar CAD, or BBS software.
- Experience in steel quantity estimation, reconciliation, and material planning.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹12,194.15 - ₹76,674.65 per month
