Job Title: Kindergarten Educator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a nurturing Kindergarten Educator to join our team! As a Kindergarten Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young learners, fostering a love for learning, and creating a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum standards - Develop and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment - Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas for improvement - Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement instructional programs - Encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking
- Manage classroom behaviour and promote personal-social-emotional development - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Teaching certification (B.Ed or diploma course in Early Childhood Care) - Minimum 1 year of experience working with kindergarten-age children
- Strong knowledge of child development and learning theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
