Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in the laboratory furniture manufacturing and installation industry. The candidate will support site surveys, project execution, coordination with clients and contractors, and ensure smooth installation of laboratory furniture and related infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and surveys for projects.
- Take site measurements and prepare basic layouts as required.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients.
- Monitor civil and interior-related site activities during installation.
- Ensure site readiness before furniture delivery and installation.
- Verify drawings and identify site constraints or deviations.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and site records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Support material estimation and quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with production and installation teams for smooth project execution.
- Resolve minor site-related issues and escalate major concerns to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply.
- Experience in interior fit-outs, modular furniture, laboratory projects, or construction sites will be an added advantage.
