Projects Role Overview The Design Lead – Fire Figh ng will lead the end-to-end design coordina on, review, and execu on support of fire protec on systems at the site.
The role ensures that all fire figh ng systems are codecompliant, coordinated with other disciplines, and aligned with project execu on melines. Key Responsibili es 1. Design Management & Coordina on Lead design review of fire figh ng systems including: o Hydrant System o Sprinkler System o Fire Suppression Systems (FM200 / NOVEC / CO₂) o Fire Alarm & Detec on interface (coordina on with ELV team) Coordinate with consultants, architects, and client teams for design approvals Ensure design compliance with NBC, NFPA, and local fire authority regula ons 2. Site & Execu on Support Provide technical support to site execu on teams for installa on and tes ng Resolve design-related issues during construc on stage Review shop drawings, BOQs, and material submi als Conduct regular site inspec ons for design adherence 3. BIM & Clash Coordina on (Only Guidance not Direct Working) Lead coordina on using BIM tools (LOD 300–400 level) Ensure clash-free rou ng of fire figh ng systems with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical Review coordinated drawings prior to execu on 4. Authority Approvals & Documenta on Liaise with PMC/Owner/Design Consultant for approvals and NOCs Prepare and review documenta on required for statutory approvals Ensure as-built drawings and O&M manuals are delivered 5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for system design valida on Par cipate in technical evalua ons and procurement support Interface with PMC, client, and internal teams Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of NFPA, NBC, TAC guidelines Exper se in hydraulic calcula ons and system sizing Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Navisworks Strong coordina on and stakeholder management skills Problem-solving mindset with site-oriented approach Educa onal Qualifica on B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Fire Engineering Cer fica on in Fire Protec on Design (preferred) Preferred Experience Experience in large-scale mixed-use/commercial/high-rise projects Prior experience working with contractors at site office Exposure to data centers, malls, hotels, and office complexes is an advantage Repor ng To Project Director / MEP Head Key Deliverables Approved coordinated fire figh ng design Timely resolu on of design issues at site Compliance with statutory requirements Successful handover
Pay: ₹591,356.05 - ₹1,359,496.61 per year
