As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager - Pharma to Lead and accelerate the growth of the pharma excipients business by developing and executing strategic growth plans, building sustainable long-term business opportunities, driving profitability, and strengthening market position. The role requires strong commercial leadership, strategic thinking, innovation, and execution excellence while aligning closely with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Who We’re Looking For:
- M.Pharm qualified with extensive experience in the sale of pharma excipients & Ingredients.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical formulations, excipient applications, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in strategic business leadership and delivering profitable growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing P&L.
- Experience in working with global and regional teams.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute the long-term business strategy for the pharma excipients portfolio in alignment with organizational growth objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and innovative business models to expand the business.
- Build a robust growth pipeline across existing and new customer segments.
- Drive market penetration and customer acquisition strategies to strengthen competitive positioning.
- Own and deliver annual revenue, volume, and profitability targets for the pharma excipient business.
- Drive margin improvement initiatives through portfolio optimization, pricing strategy, and value-based selling.
- Ensure budget achievement and financial discipline across the business.
- Introduce new ideas, products, and business concepts to support long-term growth.
- Work closely with technical, marketing, and innovation teams to build differentiated value propositions.
- Identify opportunities in advanced drug delivery, biologics, and specialty excipients.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing commercial teams.
- Build organizational capability for future growth.
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-centric culture.
- Collaborate with global business teams to align regional priorities with global strategy.
- Work closely with supply chain, technical services, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Represent regional market insights into global strategy discussions.
- Lead strategic business projects from ideation to commercialization.
- Drive execution excellence in business expansion, product launches, and customer development programs.
- Ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with key pharma customers, strategic accounts, and industry stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and customer events.
