How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:
As a BTP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable, secure and user centric applications on SAP BTP as part of ANDREW IT. You will work closely with technical and business experts to bring innovative solutions and business values to our organization. This role will be based in Goa or Hyderabad in India
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications, extensions, and integration scenarios on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Building and consuming RESTful APIs, OData services, and Microservices to connect SAP and non-SAP systems seamlessly.
- Managing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment configurations within the SAP BTP cockpit and associated cloud environments, e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kyma.
- Monitoring application performance, troubleshooting runtime errors, optimizing database queries (SAP HANA), and implementing platform security and authentication (XSUAA, IdP).
- Partnering with functional business analysts, enterprise architects, and UX designers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP related software development, with at least 2+ years dedicated specifically to developing and integrating solutions on SAP BTP.
- Proficiency in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) (Node.js or Java) or SAP ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Strong knowledge of SAP Ui5, Fiori elements, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Solid experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Enterprise Messaging/Advanced Event Mesh.
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud, including CDS (Core Data Services) views and SQL Script.
- Deep understanding of the SAP BTP Cockpit, Cloud Foundry environment, destinations, connectivity service, and cloud security concepts (OAuth 2.0, SAML).
You Will Excite Us If You:
- Are familiar with SAP Joule or using generative AI capabilities within the SAP ecosystem.
- Have experience with the SAP BTP Kyma runtime (Kubernetes/Docker containers).
