Do you want to make a difference for thousands of users in the construction industry? Would you like to help shape and design our digital products for desktop and mobile and make them more user friendly? EG Construction is currently on an exciting journey and is looking for a Senior UI Designer to join a newly established design team in EG Construction.
As part of the department
EG Construction consists of a strong product management team with over 450+ colleagues across Denmark, Norway, Finland and India. We combine deep industry knowledge with ambitions to digitalize, optimize, and reduce the CO2 footprint of construction projects. Your role, key Responsibilities
As a Senior UI Designer at EG Construction, you will:
- Translate user findings into visuals that are created for thousands of customers in the construction industry.
- Design pixel-perfect user interfaces in Figma and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product owners and other Designers.
- Present design concepts, prototypes and storytelling to your team and stakeholders.
- Work with clear, detailed UI specifications, component documentation, and design system updates.
Your profile and mandatory skill set
The ideal candidate for this role holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, interaction or software design or similar with more than 4 years of working experience preferably from construction, maritime, logistics, finance or similar. It is ideal that you have collaborated internationally before and have experience with designing digital products for web and mobile. It is important that you stay curious and are eager to grow in a fast-paced international environment. We expect that you have a great passion for all things design-related and are passionate about creating good user interfaces and digital solutions. We envision that you are structured, have good communication skills in English, and happily present and explain visuals concepts to others.
You have experience with:
- Figma, Miro, Claude and other tools
- Concept development and wireframing and prototyping
- Accessibility and WCAG requirements
- Design libraries
- Designing for cross-platform solutions (web, iOS, Android)
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Design for tables, filtering and forms
