1. Workshop Operations (CV Focus)
- Manage day-to-day operations of commercial vehicle body repair shop
- Plan and prioritize repair jobs for trucks, buses, and fleet vehicles
- Ensure minimal vehicle downtime to support fleet operations
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) for repairs
2. Team Management
- Supervise welders, fabricators, denters, painters, electricians, and technicians
- Assign jobs based on skill (chassis repair, cabin repair, load body fabrication)
- Ensure productivity in heavy vehicle repair operations
- Train staff on CV-specific repair techniques (chassis alignment, load body repair, etc.)
3. Technical Oversight (Commercial Vehicles)
- Oversee structural repairs including chassis straightening and reinforcement
- Ensure proper repair of load bodies, containers, tanker bodies, and bus bodies
- Check welding quality, fabrication strength, and alignment accuracy
- Approve repair methods for heavy-duty vehicles
4. Fleet & Customer Management
- Coordinate with fleet owners, logistics companies, and transport operators
- Provide repair updates and downtime estimates
- Handle service agreements with commercial clients
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently
5. Insurance & Estimation Handling
- Prepare and approve repair estimates for accident-damaged CVs
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors and claim departments
- Ensure proper documentation for claim processing
- Optimize repair cost without compromising safety
6. Quality & Safety Control
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards for heavy vehicles
- Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery
- Maintain compliance with road safety and transport regulations
- Enforce workshop safety for heavy equipment usage
7. Financial & Inventory Management
- Control workshop costs, labor efficiency, and material usage
- Manage spare parts and fabrication material inventory
- Monitor profitability of body shop operations
- Reduce waste and rework in heavy vehicle repairs
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
