Position: Biomedical Engineer (Hospital Equipment Servicing)
Location: Singrauli
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of medical equipment to ensure smooth hospital operations and uninterrupted patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, and maintain medical equipment and devices.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a timely manner.
Coordinate with equipment vendors for warranty claims and annual maintenance contracts (AMC/CMC).
Maintain service logs, calibration records, and equipment documentation.
Ensure all medical equipment complies with safety and quality standards.
Train hospital staff on the proper operation and safe handling of medical equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements when necessary.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency service requests.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in hospital biomedical equipment servicing.
- Knowledge of ICU, OT, Laboratory, Radiology, and other hospital equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
