Job Summary:
The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for managing domestic logistics and shipment operations, ensuring goods are delivered to customers on time and accurately. The ideal candidate will have logistics coordination experience and the ability to efficiently resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities -
1. Transportation Management
- Handle Full Truck Load (FTL), Part Load (PTL) and B2C shipments.
- Coordinate with transporters for truck placement on time.
- Plan and schedule dispatches based on priority and order requirements.
- Ensure vehicles meet compliance requirements (RC, insurance, driver documents).
2. B2C Logistics Handling (Bluedart, Delhivery, etc.)
- Create and manage B2C shipment labels, manifests, pickup schedules.
- Daily coordination with courier partners like Bluedart, Delhivery, Ecom, Xpressbees, etc.
- Monitor reverse logistics (RTO shipments).
- Maintain performance reports: TAT, pickup failures, delivery exceptions.
3. Shipment Tracking & Monitoring
- Track all shipments: FTL / PTL / B2C until final delivery.
- Maintain tracking sheets with updated status.
- Share daily tracking reports with internal teams.
- Follow up for POD collection and upload.
4. Warehouse & Loading Coordination
- Supervise loading & unloading activities.
- Verify material as per invoice, packing list, and customer requirement.
- Ensure proper vehicle sealing, weight accuracy, and documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse team for stock readiness.
5. Documentation & Data Management
- Prepare LR, e-Way Bill, invoice, packing list documents.
- Maintain transport records, daily dispatch MIS, POD database, and freight summary.
- Update ERP or Excel sheets accurately.
- Support audit requirements by providing required logistics data.
6. Vendor & Sourcing Management
- Manage and coordinate with transport vendors for rates, lead time, and service quality.
- Identify and onboard new transporters when needed.
- Resolve issues related to delays, damages, shortages, or service failures.
- Negotiate freight rates and maintain vendor performance metrics.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong knowledge of FTL / PTL operations, transportation routes, and truck types.
- Experience with B2C courier operations (Bluedart, Delhivery, etc.).
- Good communication & vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure & manage fast-paced dispatch operations.
- Hands-on experience in MS Excel, Transport Management System (TMS), or WMS.
- Strong data management & reporting skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate (Any stream) or Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain.
- 1–4 years of experience in logistics coordination (Bhiwandi experience preferred).
- Knowledge of e-way bill, LR creation, vehicle documentation.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
