Shift Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Site Management:
- Oversee onsite execution of data center projects
- Supervise installation activities and ensure work is completed as per design and timelines
- Handle installation of data center infrastructure (rack systems, cabling, power systems, etc.)
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve deviations promptly
Project Coordination:
- Plan, track, and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, design, factory, purchase) for smooth project execution
- Work closely with external vendors and contractors
- Ensure alignment between project requirements and execution
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and safety protocols
- Monitor site activities to maintain compliance with company and client standards
Client Handling & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact between client and company during execution
- Interact with clients on-site for updates, approvals, and issue resolution
- Ensure smooth communication and high client satisfaction
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain daily progress reports, installation records, and project documentation
- Ensure proper handover documentation is completed post project execution
Travel & Site Management:
- Travel across India for project execution and monitoring
- Manage multiple sites simultaneously when required
