What is in it for you?
The Senior delivery Engagement Specialist role is to lead & deliver end-to-end engagements for modernizing and migrating legacy analytical data platforms, enterprise data warehouses, on-premises bigdata Hadoop, legacy DW appliances, and databases to Databricks, Snowflake and other new age data platforms on could. Delivery engagements in agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery methods for the fixed bid, managed services, and outcome-based execution models.
Responsibilities
1. Operational alignment of the role:
An ADL will be part of ‘data & analytics: data on cloud’ practice who is responsible for leading delivery engagements for the large data platform modernization engagements, primary reporting to the practice Lead/ head and secondary reporting to the respective market delivery leaders/Head.
2. Senior Specialist Engagement Lead Job Description:
- At least 15+ years of IT experience, primarily in leading data & analytics programs tech delivery
- Should have led at least 3 large legacy EDW/data platform modernization & migrations to snowflake/databricks/data on cloud engagements in the last 5+ years.
- Having experience in leading all aspects of the project/program life cycle, including strategy, roadmap, architecture, design, development, and Implementation for the multi-phase/multi-year engagements & rollouts.
- Prepare end-to-end program planning/WBS and execution.
- Client-facing and ability to guide the team technically and lead technical reviews with the project team.
- Drive technical / solution and architecture reviews with the client business / IT stakeholders.
- Understand & deploy CitiusTech accelerators, re-usable assets, and frameworks for the engagements.
- Proactively identify technical / solution delivery risks and plan mitigation steps.
- Work with both technical and business users, platform / product partners, and other stakeholders to design and deliver quality outcomes for the data on cloud/platform modernization engagements.
- Should have led the large team up to 50.
- Should be certified on at least one of the data platforms (Snowflake or Databricks), 1 Hyperscaler/cloud certification.
- Good to have experience on data ops.
SEL role: primary objectives:
Technical/solution Delivery excellence:
1. Lead large data platform modernization/migration engagements (Snowflake, Databricks)
2. Planning, execution and client signoff on project technical deliverables
3. Responsible for end-to-end technical deliverables, client-facing and stakeholders’ management.
4. Drive proactive innovation and solutioning the engagement. Continuously look for use cases to automate the solution using AI/Gen AI where applicable.
5. Grooming the project team on technical solutions, deliverables and skill required for the engagements.
6. Project team members upskilling for the project needs, CT cookbooks, accelerators/solutions, and re-usable assets.
7. Deploy CT assets/accelerators, implementation of playbooks, and enable continuous productivity improvement.
8. New programs: readiness, on-time/seamless kick-offs without escalations with right seed resources
9. Client facing, provide guidance and periodic tech & solution reviews with the project team.
10. Responsible for CSAT from the engagements on technical/solution & differentiators (>4.5/5 rating), no client escalations.
11. Influence client through delivery excellence and enable to win new down-stream business/new areas of scope and secure subsequent phases of the program.
12. Successful execution of the engagements and enable client testimonials/references. Optimization of the team pyramid and structure for the program execution.

- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Project / Program / Change management certification is desirable.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Master’s Degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
