We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Butchery Chef (Commi / DCDP) to join our kitchen team. The candidate should have experience in meat cutting, cleaning, portioning, storage, and maintaining hygiene standards in the butchery section. Experience in hotels, restaurants, or central kitchens is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, clean, trim, debone, and portion meat products efficiently
- Prepare meat according to kitchen requirements and recipes
- Ensure proper storage, freshness, and quality of all meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the butchery section at all times
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in stock management, inventory control, and stock rotation
- Minimize wastage and maintain proper portion control
- Support senior chefs and coordinate with kitchen staff for daily operations
- Properly clean and maintain all butchery tools and equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in butchery or kitchen operations preferred
- Knowledge of meat cuts, deboning, and preparation techniques
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy items
- Honest, disciplined, punctual, and hardworking
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Leadership skills are a plus for senior-level candidates
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
