Position Overview
As a Restaurant Steward, you will be part of a prestigious fine-dining team, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and delivering a refined dining experience. You will assist in table service, guest interaction, and upholding fine-dining protocols while ensuring discretion with high-profile clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, attentive service.
- Assist in presenting menus, answering guest queries, and recommending food and wine pairings.
- Support Captains/Servers in taking and serving orders with precision and efficiency.
- Set up and maintain tables as per fine-dining etiquette.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
- Handle guest requests promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Clear and reset tables discreetly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth and timely service.
- Maintain grooming standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Provide discreet, personalized service for high-profile guests.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1–6 years’ experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, or premium restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of fine-dining etiquette, wine service, and food presentation.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages a plus.
- Impeccable grooming, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Diploma/Certification in Hotel Management or F&B Service preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure with a positive, guest-first attitude.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
